I have always had a passion for helping people. I get true satisfaction from assisting people with resolving their problems, and this is one of the things that initially drew me to law. This passion for helping people drives both myself and the rest of the team at Zacharias Vickers McCann LLP to do the best work possible for our clients every day.

I was raised in Mission BC and grew up playing football for the Mission Niners community football team and for the École Mission Secondary School Roadrunners football team. At the end of high school, I was fortunate that with the help and guidance of my amazing coaches, I attended the University of British Columbia on an athletic scholarship and played for the UBC Thunderbirds varsity football team.

After completing my undergraduate studies, I decided to study abroad in England to gain an international perspective on the common law at the University of Leicester, where I obtained a First-Class Honours Law Degree. While at the University of Leicester I developed a love for trial advocacy. I was a semi-finalist in the University of Leicester Canadian Law Society Moot, acted as a judge in the Canadian Law Society Moot, and I was selected as a distinguished mooter in the Centennial Moot. My passion for helping people quickly developed into a passion for access to justice. To further this interest, I became heavily involved with the University of Leicester Pro Bono Society Legal Advice Clinic and Litigants in Person Project, two organizations focused on making the legal system and legal advice accessible to the public.

After graduation from the University of Leicester I returned to Vancouver and completed my Master of Law (Common Law) at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. While at Allard Law I focused my studies on civil litigation, namely injury litigation and class action litigation. I channeled my passions for these areas of law into a research paper that was published in Canadian Class Action Review.

Prior to working with Zacharias Vickers McCann LLP, I articled at a boutique injury litigation firm in Vancouver that specializes in high end injury claims. The experience that I gained there has given me an invaluable skill set that I look forward to putting to work for all my clients in civil litigation going forward.

When not in the office I enjoy keeping active in the gym, exploring the beautiful Fraser Valley, travelling, golfing (terribly), playing card and board games, in addition to spending time with friends and family.
